In Japanese, they have gosaimasu, like an ending, when you say thank you. Arya doosaimasu instead of good morning was 'embarrassing' I think even introducing yourself sometimes can be hard and be embarrassing. One thing that I usually tell my students is make mistakes. Even if you're learning slang or you're learning about another culture is, you're going to make mistakes, so you need to accept that.
