This was just born out of frustration on clinical practice where I would be working with people that were always thick as tree in am. And so like the things that make me angry right often turn into some sort of clinical of clinical study. So my first actual research project about that included a cohort of patients that were a penile that were labeled as penilogia and it showed that clinical care was lower if you got a non-beta lactam. The main driver for that we believe is there was a much lower percentage of active empiric therapy meaning that the empiric antibiotic didn't have activity against the infecting pathogen on day three etc.
