The Role of the Police in a Resilient Community
The police are a tool within society that need to be focused on a particular purpose. I think one of the key things we need to stop doing is thinking about fixing the police. We're just going to end up with a slightly better version of a thing that's not working and it's not fit for purpose. Once we've got a bit more clarity on what we actually want to see, then we can define the police role in a way that will be a lot clearer for everyone.
