One of the best ways to feel the body is something simple like wriggling the fingers and toes. When in stress or a fightor flight activation, it's very common to dissociate. A really nice thing to do is to wriggle the feet, wriggle the toe s and sometimes the hands,. Just opening and closing the hands, something like this. That brings the attention down into the body. It prevents freeze, it can well prevent, maybe it can interrupt freeze and thaw a little bit.
