The Importance of Gnosis in Nazism
Gnosticism is deeply influential in some very important people. How can we salvage Gnosis from Gnosticism? Just like how can we salvage Agape from Christianity? So on one side, you can see the dangers. Why did this happen? It's a long complicated story,. But part of the reason is the emerging Orthodox Church that thought Jesus was absolutely unique and the point was to worship him. And I mean that literally, persecuted the Gnostic form of Christianity and drove it underground.
