Connie Davis was a world champion on the track and an Olympic champion on the road. "I just, I was a very high strung athlete," she says of her early days in cycling. She would ride 50 miles one direction to go see part of stage and then back home again. The only highlight of the year aside from World Championships or Olympics is the course classic at Colorado's University of Northern Colorado.
