The Sound of the Bassoon

Bassoon, e flat clarinet and a bass clarinet were among the unusual instruments used. The dancers weren't gracefully pirouetting about but jumping up and down with both feet together. A contemporary San Francisco symphony musician has described the sound as a jungle.
