The national flood insurance programme is a famously flawed because it doesn't consider maps that are changed by climate change. Our wildfire suppression bu is based on a ten year rolling average, when we know the future will look different. We're going to be run by averages ad i think that's a distinction when it comes to climate change. And again, this may not come as a surprise to many people, but a a big problem is our politics. So it doesn't help that we have had a climate denier as president.
