Is There a General Factor of Intelligence?
There's no inevitability that trying to make you low risk for diabedes therefore makes you high risk for heart disease, or something like that. To first approximation, these risks are largely independent of each other. And then to the extent that they're correlated, we're generally finding mild positive correlations,. meaning that you can lower all the risk, or risk across an entire cluster of diseased conditions simultaneously. Is there any thought to perhaps just simply select for longgevity or or quality adjusted lie stand instead of looking at all these individual diseases andand then aggregating them together into a health intex?
