I Think It Was an Open Family Secret.
It was an open secret within the family what he got up to, and i think amongst his colleagues as well. No, they were often dalliances. Although barbara did later say that she thoughthe needed to fall in love every two or three years a inorder to keep things going with him. But a lot of his affairs were simply just that, jus, brief affairs that didn't necessarily last very long.
