The Quest for Wisdom Wasn't Something That Was Completely Secret
When he was 22 years old, Bob Greene became interested in different kinds of Buddhism. He visited a holy mountain called Umei-Shan which is the westernmost holy mountain in Buddhism in southwestern China. On his way back to the United States after spending all day hiking up that mountain, he found there were many banal elements within his own life. His parish priest pointed out this obvious thing: "I had already been given wisdom and I had not yet exercised it"
