The Problem With Pence's Decision Tree
In 2006, for all those people who are like, abortion is my number one issue. I think it's at least arguable to say now, no, they weren't. They were using abortion as a shorthand, a shortcut for that identity and now the similar shortcut is immigration. You can't announce your pro choice, but you can certainly make abortion not an important part of your candidacy. And so the ideas that he's represented are going to get are going to suffer because of his personality.
