The Use of Nuclear Weapons in the Cold War
Naksak: The ones dropped on Japan was smaller than the so-called tactical nuclear weapons. We used to have artillery rounds that we would, yeah, were nuclear artillery rounds. Now you have a host of these types of weapons that can be either dropped through ballistic missiles or artillery and or craters waiting for some element of a unit to go across a particular point and then detonate it. Most of what the Russians are threatening are on short range ballistic missiles.
