What Does That Mean for Asset Prices?

The economy is relatively stronger in the US than it is across the globe. So what does that mean for asset prices? Well, if you see interest rates going up, asset prices don't like that because most companies base their growth on borrowing and on debt. There's another factor that is causing global markets to fall, which is the war in Russia and Ukraine. And additionally, the Ukraine is a huge supplier of grain and other things across the world. When their supply is cut off, there is less of that. And that serves to increase inflation, which will hurt asset prices.
