The Importance of Torah in Judah

In 2 Chronicles 34, King Josiah of Judah is told to have found the Torah. He had been raised in a church-going family and didn't really know any better than other people his age. But he knew nothing about it because there were no Bibles for him to check against. His son Shafan was asked to read out loud the book of Deuteronomy as part of temple renovation project.
