Is Tokipona a Pigeon?

Tokepona is essentially a pigeon. Do you feel like tokepona is evolving into something else, or was it always desigded in a way that it should be a fixed kind of entity? That's lik a very good question. When i first should have published toky pona on the internet, like in, i think it was two thousand and one, i didn't even realize that the language like, sort of was becoming more popular.
