In a wide range of our thinking, we have near versus far. Hypotheticality, something you're confident in is near and something that's speculative or unlikely is far. In social distance, things are near versusFar. And the key observation is to notice this habit of seeing things near versus far is an obstacle to a group seeing something the same.
