The Weight of Responsibility Shapes Many of Our Future Leaders

I feel the responsibility to educate young men in a way that they're going to embrace opportunities for themselves, but also make a positive contribution. There's no ceiling on boys ambition and we encourage them to take advantage of their opportunities. I often see when I see some of our alumni, sometimes there's an inverse relationship between those who were the kind of boy's own heroes at school and those who've gone on and been happy and successful in their adult lives. The idea that there's ever a consensus about anything within the school is, you know, for the birds. And one thing you can pretty much guarantee is that there are etonians on all sides of pretty much any debate.
