The Odd Experience of a Homestead Guest

Some visitors to the Benton homestead have reported hearing voices, knocking and footsteps. One woman claims she was woken up in the middle of the night by a hand covering her mouth. Another couple who stayed overnight claimed that their guest had been gone within 15 minutes. A photographer visited the home with his sister for an architectural project but found it difficult to take photos because they were all defective. The house is said to be haunted; some people believe there are spirits living inside its walls.
