The Mermaid in the Bottle
Masks are an important element in this story. I was very interested in the mermaid in the bottle. That was just a nasty detail. What is it about this idea of mass that attraction was a storyteller? There's so much you can play with there. All the characters are very, to me, they feel very real. And they're not storm gods. They're not death gods. You know, they're half grown kids who are doing their best to survive.
