The Importance of Implicit Measures in the Mind

When we say pro Democrat or Republican, all I mean is that what we do with these measures is a relative assessment. How much more easily do you associate goodness with Democrats versus Republicans? And if it's easier for you to put good with Democrat than good with Republican, then you're pro Democrat. It may be as very base level as a simple associative or affective relationship. Or it could be that a lot of this stuff is more rich like you're describing and actually has some representation about value systems.
