The Common Opposition to Reform Intervention
There's a common objection against reform intervention, or reason for scepticism of reform intervention. It may be directed at states that are legitimate, but it might deny them those modes of treatment. But not all forms of intervention do deny recipient societies, o recipient institutions, policy making authority or good standing in the international community. So even if we think interventions should never treat recipient states as if they're illegitimate am, then we know we don't have to conclude that reform interventions are never justified.
