Is It a Policy Free Party?

It's basically a policy free party now. It's just not where they're interested any more, he says. I don't even entirely know why. Is it because at this point, it's the fight itself that they know, is it? Or is it to some extent the effact they've become so extreme in their views when they do talk about substance, that it becomes hard to engage? He thinks there's an old-fashioned conservative class who are happy with generous welfare state as long as it's for them. And i think these basic ideas o like big bad government is going to give you some benefit no longer gets the riled up the way it once did.
