The Diary of George the Fifth
Diary is one of a few moments in his diary when george is actually sort of telling us his feelings and describing his emotions. Detail numbers, figures, times very much the way he thinks, the things he cares about. In some ways jolly good, because you get a time code on everything. There's a precision there. But even the most dramatic incidents, most ruptof incidents in life, like a sudden bereavement, ar described in that way. That's apytectic. This is what happened. And then sometimes you come across an expression of emotion, which brings you closer to him.
