The Cowardice of the Crucifixion

Christianity gives you the crucifixion and then it seems to end in tragedy I know there's supposed to be a resurrection but I still don't see dancing in the forest of the gopis. Kirk and guard are identified with only the crucifixion without the resurrection like he says. He was not someone who was incapable of conceiving of the joy and peace and love that Christianity offers up as pablam for the afterworld.
