Spectre's Crystal Sessions

The Wrecking Crew were a loose group of musicians who would play on many hit records in the 60s. This was the first session on which Spectre used any of these musicians, and with the exception of Roberts, who hated working on Spectre's sessions and soon stopped. While Pitney wrote fewer his own records, he'd established himself a parallel career as a writer for other people. He'd written today's tiered drops, The Beast Side of Roy Orbison's hit, Blue Angel.
