I think in some ways if you look at the 1960s, America and in general, almost it's like an attempt to heal a society that doesn't have the figure of the shaman really. Any attempt to do that without tradition or knowledge about how to do that can go catastrophically wrong. I would say that not every spiritual person I've met fits your description, but he lot do so for sure. But then I have met some exceptional people and they are actually the outliers that I model - which is very different from my normal life. So yeah there're all kinds of things going on with me as far as what kind of training I'm doing... It's also very fun
