The Death of Print Media in the Climbing World

Bob Greene started the Alpenest in 2001. He says he was inspired by Paul Ganyes' article on rock climbing in the Tetons. The magazine is now run by Katie Schonard, who took over after his departure. "I still revisit the Yoo-Joo Hiri Yama piece on trying to on-site the Salathe," writes Greene.
