User experience itself is a one thing and UI interaction design etc etc emotion, etc is the part of the design that you can work on. Any user experience isn't evolving sort of organism that starts from some point interacting with you and then it either stays with you or it disappears from your life. You have to build something that's sustainable and it takes time to build which is where the fun is as a designer.
