i wanted to ask you about how you conceptualize your role as an idea maker, an idea disseminator in the world. Because you're one of the very small number of people who come out of journalism who transcend your journalism at a fundamental level. How do you think of yourself? Well, there's an evolution here. I mean, i i used the platform of the new york times and the new Yorker to give a substance to ideas that were pretty edgy at the time.
