Infected infants had lower birth weights median of 760 versus 1140 grams. Infants with ladonset sepsis were more often born vaginally 33% versus 24.5%. They were more oftenborn to mothers with chorium neonitis 17.8% versus 12.2%. Infected infants also had longer length of stay compared with uninfected infants 102 versus 62 days much longer length of stays.
