The Importance of Imminence in Torah Study
There are those who see God as unutterably far and those who see him as unbearably near. Judaism believes that both exist simultaneously. The Rabbi say that God is as close as your mouth to your ear. If we end up elevating imminence over transcendence, do we in some ways neglect Torah study?
