The Invention of Yesterday

The history of the islamic world, if you're there from the point of view of the moslem, it's not the history ofh slomic world. And then it struck me that there's lots of histories in the world. Every history of the world is a somebodycentric narrative about how we got to where we are to day. Which is what gave me the impetus for the last book i've published, the invention of yesterday. It was prompted by by the observ we are all connected now, one there is one humanity.
