A bespoke array was needed to get the helicopter on set in a snowstorm. "If you can figure out a way to get them out in the field, they're amazing," he says of drones and other aerial assets. But it might be like a false economy if there's too much control over what is happening at any one time or even just how many cameras are being used for certain shots.
