The Last Thing Is This

The fourth thing we get to do is keep scripture in our minds, keep scripture in front of us. I don't think it's a mystery why most of the most of my favorite saints are saints who have said they kept their Bible with them at all times. There's something powerful about even just choosing a scripture at the beginning of every day is holding it in your mind. And so in the face of temptation, we're like our prototype. We expect the trial. We eliminate the option. We rewrite the script and we fill our minds and our hearts with God's word.
