The Social Conservatives' Reaction to the Sex Recession
In recent years, we've seen the so-called sex recession, which is a great headline from Cait Julian's piece. But I think the worrying thing about this sort of sex recession or this relationship recession is not necessarily that people are not having babies specifically. When you talk to people, what you hear is that they say that dating has gotten harder for them. So in some ways, the question is not are people having enough sex, but are people able to form the meaningful relationships and commitments that they desire? That's the alarming part.
