spirituality should be uniting us as children of the divine, we should be connecting with each other. And handing our authority to other people to think for us is doing exactly the opposite. It's a system of anxiety management to gather my truths, gather my people, make my beliefs right and make my leaders holy so that I can be protected from a very scary, insecure, unknowable world. We're not the only ones that have done this since pretty much the beginning of time. Everyone has created a tribe. They've codified their belief system. They've created tribal leaders and they've done this in order to divide themselves against one another.
