The Importance of Local Church Discipline

On the wall above their dining table was a giant hobby lobby painting that read, where two or three are gathered together, there i am in the midst of them. This verse is about the minimum number of people to faithfully carry out local church discipline. I didn't bring up the discussion while we were there, but i did end up preaching on it several months later. So a couple take aways: Church discipline is essential and its founded in a heart for reconciliation and restoration.
