Is the Old-Old Engineering in Need of a Status Boost?

I'm curious whether this kind of breakthrough in the publicity around it conserved to raise the status in general of material engineering. I mean my instinct was to immediately say yes of course it is you know poor doubt children engineers they need a pat on the head and aren't they important? And isn't it a good thing that the energy transition the supply chain crisis of forced of all to realize that the world that we live in is made up of stuff, not just given to us by God.
