Tom Hanks, He's an Underrated, Underrated Eighties Guy
John, it's an amazing observation by him. If you look at the movies that he makes, within ten years, he's in the cable guy and basically just playing cameron. It's so strange how maybe originally he didn't want to be the smooth, slick guy who can do it all all the time in the eighties because he would have felt pigeon holed. But somehow he completely inverted his whole onscreen persono over the course of ten years which is amazing. He doesn't make a lot of really good movies but they're not exactly farraspullerstyle films. I don't know that matthew broderick ever projected the ability to do like saving private
