It's a two step process, this kind of transformation that we're talking about. The first thing you have to do is recognize that the subroutines are operating. It's critically important. You want to ask, how do those subrotines continue to serve you? Because very often they're very useful. So i would shy away from the notion of replacing one set of programming with a new set of programming. What i'd rather do is have a more adaptede learning system that doesn't require so much programming.
