The Importance of Mind of a Matter

Pausen and his comrades parachuted into an area above the Vermoc plant called the Hadangavida. Their mission was to lay the groundwork for what was to be called Operation Freshman. 41 men of Operation Freshman either died in the crashes or were captured and eventually executed by the Nazis. They found a trapper's cabin for shelter, but could not contact local population for help. Palsen hoped the Allies would soon order his men to cross the border to Sweden. But Operation Grouse has informed them that they need to stay on the ground.
