The Tax Office Says It Can't Pass on Information
The Tax Office says secrecy provisions prevailed and they couldn't do anything. They didn't specify exactly what those provisions were or which legislation they came from. But there's a lot of carve-outs, if you like, in the legislation that does provide potentially for the Tax Office to argue that it could pass on information. The interesting thing here is that that's part of the Act, has a lot of exceptions.
