Intergenerational Mobility in American History, Accounting for Race and Measurement Error
This week's white paper is inner generation mobility in american history, accounting for race and measurement error. Zachary ward used linked census data to estimate a intergenerational mobility including non white families. He found that mobility was way lower from 18 50 to 19 forty then, than other estimates suggest. But he also suggests that since 19 forty, we've seen substantial increases in mmobility for non white Americans.
