The Story of Santa Claus
The character we now call santa claus was forming through borrowed folk lore and influential stories, as well as more of that special duality of good and bad. Here are a few of the most formative words of old saint nick: "Wherever i found good girls or boys that hated quarrels, strife and noise, I left an apple or tart" The rich saw them feast, with another witness stating that the rich qute looked on in happy sympathy. And of course, the food ran out before all these entertainers were fed.
