If you're white, it feels good to have something all figured out. To frame yourself as an eternal vict gives you a sense of belonging. There is a victimization complex that is a human trait. It's no surprise that a lot of black people feel insecure because of the history of the race. If you are a noble victim, which is the only possible if you're not one, you can't wallow in victim hood unless you really are suffering from day to day.
