People brush up against the numinous and it's fairly widespread so many of you will have encountered it. They are fascinated by this because they hope to see something horrifying. But if they see something they have the potential of being very unpleasantly horrified. The presence of death has the possibility to completely sever your grip on reality literally in fact.
