ExxonMobil: A Disillusioned Company
Elon: ExxonMobil was my first job out of graduate school in 2003. Elon is an engineer, and he says part of his job was to maximize production from their oil and gas projects right around the world. "I wasn't seeing anything except for hydroxyfracture, shale gas wells and more unconventional oil in the next 10 years" Darlon left ExxonMobil in 2019. We put his comments to the company and they told us in a statement that we are not working to help society lower greenhouse gas emissions.
