The Day of the Lord
The word fall is never used in that story. So it's important to the theme, but this idea of a day, this idea developed yet. A day when collective human evil gets confronted by God. Okay. That's right in the first pages of the Bible. And that's where the day of the Lord theme begins. Yeah. The rebellion. Humans were given a call to trust and they went rogue one. They went rogue though. Yes. You could think of the kingdom of God as a rebellion against Babylon. But in Genesis three, human's rebel against God's kingdom.Yeah. Remember the image of God? Humanity is the royal image of God.
