The Importance of Persuasion
Social scientists and policymakers are easier per person to persuade. But nevertheless, I do think many individuals are persuadable and have been persuaded. The new problem is that we need to find a new mechanism or institution such that people can continue to pretend to want the things they've been pretending to want but also give them more of what they really want.
